Chilling Equipment
Two very different systems are produced:
SCRAPED SURFACE CHILLERS, Model RSR, for Chill Stabilisation
Pump the wine through the scraped surface cylinder which is chilled directly by the refrigerant gas. No glycol is involved so no other pumps or tanks are required and the cooling is very quick. Ideal with the appropriately insulated tank for chill stabilisation of the wine. Controls have a preset temperature adjustment so automating the process. The scraper in the cylinder continually cleans the cylinder’s internal surface for good heat exchange.
GLYCOL CHILLERS
Traditional glycol cooling systems with pumps and glycol tanks are produced and can be linked with a tube-in-tube heat exchanger for must cooling or with a tank jacket for fermentation temperature control.
